Chinese Samosas
Ingredients :
1 teacup boiled noodles
2 teacup shredded cabbage
2 sliced onions
1 grated carrot
1 teacup bean sprouts
1 tsp soya sauce
1tbsp chilli sauce
½ tsp ajinomoto powder
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
oil for deep frying
For the dough :
1½ teacups plain flour
½ tsp salt
3 tsp oil
Method :
For the stuffing :
*Heat the oil on a high flame.
*Put the cabbage, onions, carrot, bean sprouts and Ajinomoto powder and cook for about 3 minutes.
*Put the noodles, soya sauce ,chilli sauce and salt.
For the dough :
*Combine all the ingredients and put water to make a stiff dough.
*Roll out into very thin circles.
How to proceed :
*Put a little stuffing on each circle and fold over to form a semi-circle.
*Bring the ends together and press. Repeat the same procedure for the remaining circles.
*Deep fry in oil until it becomes crispy.
*Ready to serve with spicy tomato sauce.
