Chillah Vilayti


Ingredients:Sevings two

For batter:3/4 cup gram flour(besan)
1cup water
1/4tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp salt

For filling:
1 onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
1 green chilli finely chopped
1tbsp chopped coriander
Salt & pepper to taste

Method:
•Mix all ingredients of batter together to make a batter of pouring consistency.
•Mix all ingredients of filling.Add salt & pepper to taste.
•Heat pan smear oil in centre.
•Remove from fire and spread 11/2 karchis(1/3cup) of batter.Spread by tilling pan.
•Return to fire.Add 1tbsp oil on sides and on surface of chillah.
•Turnover when underside is done.Cook otherside.
•Turn again.Put half of filling in centre.
•Fold right and left sides like dosa.
•Serve hot with sauce or mint chutney
